Growing rapidly and about to expand to other countries, this leadership organisation turned to Simplicity for an enterprise-wide IT and Web solution, including a centralised database, a content management system and local language microsites.

Our challenge
Common Purpose gives leaders the inspiration, knowledge and connections they need to produce real change, in their own organisations, in the local community, and in society as a whole.
The Common Purpose websites not only serve to generate interest in the leadership programmes but also support a community of past graduates. In addition, Common Purpose needed an intranet to keep employees informed.
What we did
As Common Purpose grew in the UK and expanded into other countries, it came to us to pull together its disparate Web and data systems into a single, scalable platform. Over 16 months, we:
- Created local language microsites and an international hub to support its overseas programmes
- Introduced a new content management system to make business processes more efficient
- Developed a management accounting system
- Integrated a graduate database, advanced search, and bulletin boards on the sites
- Set up an intranet for over 130 Common Purpose employees
We also provide ongoing consultancy and maintenance to ensure that high service levels are achieved.

The results
Awareness of the Common Purpose websites is already high and they receive a substantial number of hits.
The UK website has become a virtual meeting place for course participants and graduates, with curriculum materials, assessment forms and other documents available in password-protected areas.
We are currently making improvements to the graduate area ahead of introducing blogs and other community features.
