    Online sporting goods retailer Runners Need is getting ahead of the pack with a new-look website, an improved online store and an easy-to-use content management system.

  2. Stock is delivered to the warehouse from the wholesaler.
  3. Product is photographed from various angles ready for listing on the website.
  4. Photos, description and price are entered using the secure management console.
  5. Product information is stored securely in an online database.
  6. A customer visits the website looking for products to purchase.
  7. Credit card, delivery and billing details are entered to the secure area of the website.
  8. The public website confirms the transaction after checking with the bank that issued the card.
  9. The warehouse staff are notified that a successful order has been placed and the goods are prepared for shipping.
  10. The card payment is transferred at the point the goods are confirmed as in-stock and ready for dispatch.
  11. The vendor's merchant account is credited with the payment.
  12. The order is dispatched using a courier or postal service or to deliver the product direct to the required address.
  13. The customer is notified by email when the transaction is confirmed and also when the product is dispatched.
  14. If the customer has agreed, their profile information may be used for future marketing emails containing special offers.
